Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a tangible difference for K-12 students in the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person position calls for several dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to support secondary and elementary learners near Port Orchard, WA. You'll work with caseloads of approximately 45 at the secondary level and 42 at the elementary, leveraging your expertise to help students build crucial communication skills. Your skills and dedication will directly impact the educational experience and personal growth of each student in your care. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver tailored services and celebrate student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Washington SLP License and ESA (Educational Staff Associate) required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and caseloads Passion for fostering student achievement in a diverse educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support learning objectives Maintain thorough documentation of progress and therapy outcomes Attend team meetings and participate in professional development as needed Join a setting where your expertise empowers student success and your skills help shape brighter futures.
