Job Description

Make a difference for students as a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based contract role near beautiful Poulsbo, WA. This rewarding opportunity allows you to use your communication expertise and passion for helping children while collaborating with supportive educators and families. Your strong background as an SLP, SLP-CCC, and experience working in school settings will empower students to overcome communication challenges and thrive both academically and personally. You will assess, develop, and implement tailored therapy plans while monitoring progress and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective therapy sessions Provide direct intervention services to students, both individually and in groups Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress and treatment plans Participate in IEP team meetings and collaborate with teachers, administration, and families Offer resources and support for parents, caregivers, and staff regarding student progress This contract position is a fantastic chance to expand your professional skills, experience a scenic Pacific Northwest community, and make a measurable impact in students lives.
