Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in the greater Renton and Bellevue, WA area. This full-time, first semester assignment is ideal for passionate professionals eager to make a difference in students' communication and academic success. We seek candidates with strong clinical skills to provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services within a school setting. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, tailoring evidence-based speech and language strategies that support each individual's growth.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Washington state SLP license (or eligibility in process) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); Clinical Fellowship (CFY) applicants are also welcome Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities, IEP documentation, and collaborative case management Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Adaptable to evolving needs and flexible within a team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver direct therapy services and consultation in group and individual settings Engage with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to maximize student outcomes Maintain compliant documentation, progress notes, and reports Support the development of a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
