Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists to serve students for the 2026-27 academic year in a vibrant school-based setting near Renton, WA. Located within an easy drive of Seattle, this area offers both the amenities of city life and the charm of the Pacific Northwest. This supportive district is well-known for its collaborative atmosphere and values the expertise professionals bring to their educational teams. As part of this role, you'll work 37.5 hours each week throughout the school year, providing speech and language therapy to students as part of a multidisciplinary team. Caseload specifics will be shared as soon as they are finalized, ensuring that you'll be well-equipped to make a difference in your students' educational journeys.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Washington State license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience in a school-based setting preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide therapy in both individual and group sessions Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families Maintain thorough and accurate documentation Support the educational and developmental goals of students This contract offers the stability of a school-year schedule and the satisfaction of making a positive impact in a well-established, nurturing environment.
