Speech Therapist- Outpatient Adult Neurorehab Virginia Mason Medical Center - 3.6 Seattle, WA Job Details Part-time $49.03 - $70.38 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) BLS Certification CPR Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist), you will be instrumental in empowering individuals across the lifespan by evaluating and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, significantly enhancing patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Every day you will conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing impairments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care, facilitate functional independence, and support optimal recovery in various settings. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional diagnostic acumen, therapeutic skill, compassionate communication, and critical thinking are crucial for delivering evidence-based care and achieving meaningful, individualized outcomes for each patient.
