Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to make a meaningful impact in diverse school environments within Seattle, WA. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of student populations, providing essential communication assessments and interventions while experiencing the vibrant culture of the Pacific Northwest.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students exhibiting communication challenges. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines. Utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance communication skills in academic and social settings.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families. Flexibility and adaptability to navigate a travel position within Seattle schools.
Location:
This role is based in Seattle, WA, with travel between school sites as required.
