Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available in Tenino, WA for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school setting, providing essential therapy services to pediatric and school-aged populations. This role involves comprehensive evaluations, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, and consistent progress monitoring to help students overcome speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of students with speech and language disorders Develop and deliver personalized therapy targeting specific communication goals Document progress carefully and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care Educate and involve families in supporting therapy outcomesQualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Washington This contract position offers access to an expert advisory team composed of experienced SLPs within the state, ensuring professional support tailored to your needs.
