9688777-53150 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Muskego, WI, supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist. You'll be covering a leave at a welcoming school in the Burlington area, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) to help children build essential communication skills for academic and social success. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, diagnosing, and guiding students as they develop speech, language, and communication abilities. As part of a collaborative educational team, youll play a vital role in making a positive impact throughout the duration of this assignment.
Ideal candidates bring:
A current, active Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Wisconsin ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) DPI teacher certification Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload Compassion, patience, and adaptability to address varied student needs Key responsibilities include: Conducting formal and informal speech and language evaluations Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Providing direct and consultative services to students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders Maintaining accurate documentation for student progress and compliance Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insights Supporting students across different grade levels as needed In this contract role, youll have the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful difference during a pivotal time.
