9682004-53188 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in focused, individualized settings. In this unique role, you will provide specialized support within an elementary school environment, working with a single Kindergarten student who is nonverbal, developmentally delayed, utilizes an AAC device, and is on the autism spectrum. Your expertise will help empower this young learner to communicate more effectively and build essential core vocabulary skills. This is an incredibly part-time commitmentjust 45 minutes per week, scheduled at your convenience anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP state license Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Proficiency in supporting children using AAC devices Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays Patience, empathy, and commitment to individualized care

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted speech-language therapy for a single Kindergarten student Emphasize growth in core vocabulary and communication using AAC Collaborate with school staff and caregivers as appropriate Adapt therapy strategies to address self-contained classroom needs, behavioral support, and safety considerations Maintain detailed notes on progress and session outcomes
