Key Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Wisconsin ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Current DPI teacher certification Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students with diverse needs Conduct assessments to identify communication strengths and challenges Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document services provided and maintain student records in compliance with district and federal regulations Offer consultations and strategies to classroom staff for generalization of skills Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
