Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Spanish bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving a school in Waunakee, WI, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide support in a dynamic educational environment, working directly with students who require speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Provide services in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with bilingual students and families. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Valid licensure or certification to practice as an SLP within a school setting. Fluency in Spanish to provide bilingual speech-language services. Experience working in schools with diverse student populations preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with students, families, and staff.
