Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and language development in a vibrant educational setting near Wausau, WI. Seeking contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with active Wisconsin licensure for both full-time and part-time opportunities. Whether you're a seasoned clinician (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), your passion for helping children thrive makes you a valuable addition. Your expertise will be especially vital as the school transitions from virtual support to on-site providers, ensuring students receive direct, personalized care throughout the full school year. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 3, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Wisconsin SLP or SLPA licensure ASHA certification for SLP-CCC roles or eligibility for CFY candidates Experience working in school-based settings is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable to both full-time and part-time schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide targeted speech/language therapy to students Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress Maintain records and document progress in accordance with school policies Offer consultative and direct support as needed for a diverse caseload Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives This is your chance to make a meaningful impact, working alongside dedicated educators in a supportive environment.
