Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year as a full-time, district-wide speech-language pathologist. This contract role provides a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in educational settings while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll work closely with students and educators to deliver top-quality speech and language interventions across multiple campuses.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility in West Virginia ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school-based setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a passion for collaboration Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to continuous professional growth in speech and language services
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students of varied ages Develop tailored intervention plans and track student progress Participate in district-wide team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure best outcomes for students Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements Support district initiatives focused on student development and communication skills Enjoy the chance to work across multiple schools, expanding your experience, and playing a key role in students' educational journeys.
