9535501-24701 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll make a lasting impact on students communication skills in a supportive educational environment. Starting August 17, 2026 and continuing through June 10, 2027, this role aligns with the academic calendar, taking into account potential adjustments for school closures. You will work with a caseload of up to 53 students, providing critical speech/language therapy services, and may rotate among grouped sites to best serve student needs. Bring your expertise as a certified SLP-CCC to deliver individualized and group interventions. With multiple openings available, youll join a collaborative and dynamic group of professionals dedicated to student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state licensure and all required clearances for school-based practice Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred Skilled in conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing IEPs, and documenting progress Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students to identify speech and language needs Design and implement therapy programs tailored to individual IEPs Maintain detailed and compliant documentation on student progress Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Provide consultation and support for classroom teachers as needed Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, contributing professional insights Enjoy the flexibility of a contract assignment while working alongside dedicated special education teams.
