Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students' communication success for the entire 2026-2027 academic year as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers you the chance to make a significant impact, working closely with children and collaborating with vibrant school communities. Your specialized skills can help shape a positive educational experience for students in need of speech and language support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; CCC certification preferred Open to new graduates who have completed or are entering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based settings highly valued Knowledge of a variety of assessment, intervention, and treatment approaches for school-aged children Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) candidates with strong school experience may be consideredKey Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students throughout the full school year (2026-2027) Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as required Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Offer support and professional guidance to other staff as needed Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and parent conferencesPerks and Benefits:
