A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Required Qualifications:
Active state license as a speech-language pathologist Current teaching certification in speech-language pathology Experience working in school-based environments preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environmentResponsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district standards Provide intervention in both group and individual settings, adapting strategies to meet each students needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teamsWhat Sets This Role Apart:
