Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Active SLPA license required for Alabama. Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and other specialists. Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing direct therapy under SLP supervision. Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, following prescribed goals and treatment plans from the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Assist with screenings, documentation, and progress reports. Support students individually or in small groups to foster communication development. Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and the SLP to monitor student needs and adjust supports as needed.
