We provide personalized care to every child we serve. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work at one of our local school-based sites. You are required to complete the entire school year and will be paid for all time off during the school year. Your schedule would be Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00/4:30 p.m. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals, particularly in pediatric settings, by providing high-quality therapy and support. Duties Assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of tissue specimens. Maintain accurate records and documentation of pathology procedures. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely processing of specimens. Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation. Provide support in pediatric cases, including acute care and early intervention scenarios. Engage with students and other healthcare professionals to foster a learning environment. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the laboratory setting. Qualifications Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential. Experience working with children, particularly in pediatrics or related fields, is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pathology and healthcare settings. Previous experience in acute care or early intervention programs is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
