Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and make an impactful difference for students from PreK to 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role near Gadsden, AZ offers the chance to support the communication development and success of children in a vibrant educational setting. You will work at a single school site alongside dedicated educators and benefit from a focused caseload (to be determined).

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Arizona SLPA license in good standing Current IVP Fingerprint Card (must be maintained throughout employment) Experience or enthusiasm for working with PreK-8th grade students in a school environment Ability to adapt and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills Availability to work full-time, onsite for the contract dates: August 3, 2026 - May 26, 2027

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Conduct therapeutic activities and interventions to support students' communication goals Collect data and maintain documentation on students' progress Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team collaborations within the school community Work cooperatively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes
