Key Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience in a school-based SLPA role is highly valued Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with Speech Language Pathologists, teachers, and families Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle a caseload across varying grade levels Skilled in implementing targeted therapy plans under supervision and documenting student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
Support delivery of speech and language therapy services as directed by a supervising Speech Language Pathologist Provide individual and group interventions within classroom and therapy settings Assist in screening, assessment, and documentation to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to foster a positive and productive learning environment Contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate, reporting on student achievements and ongoing needs
