School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Yuma, Arizona Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Yuma, AZ Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications SLPA License Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Step into a meaningful role supporting students' communication growth at a single school site, working with PreK-8th grade learners in a full-time, onsite contract position near Yuma, AZ. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educational teams, helping execute therapy plans and fostering student success across developmental stages.

Key Qualifications:

Active Arizona SLPA license is required IVP Fingerprint Card must be current Previous experience or coursework in school-based speech therapy strongly preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Flexibility to manage varied caseload needs Proficient with documentation and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language services to students in alignment with IEP goals and SLP guidance Support data collection and documentation as required by school and regulatory standards Adapt therapy activities and materials to meet diverse student needs, under supervision Participate in team meetings, collaboration, and professional development as needed Provide assistance with screenings and progress monitoring Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and family stakeholders to ensure a cohesive support approach
