Job Description

Dynamic Hope Schools is a non-public school providing instruction and behavioral services to students with Special needs. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA Provides speech and language services to special needs students under the direct supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy to children with various communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports Experience
  • Prior experience working with children in a school setting
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech therapy
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to speech and language development
  • Familiarity with acute care practices for speech disorders
