Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Antioch, CA

This opportunity is based in Antioch, CA, offering a contract position for the upcoming school year with potential for limited Extended School Year (ESY) involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language support services to a caseload of approximately 55 students. Deliver interventions and complete related documentation, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Maintain compliance with supervision requirements and collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. Work onsite 3 to 5 days per week, following a daily schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Support the completion and closure of IEPs by the end of the school year, which ends June 5, with possible, limited ESY involvement during summer.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Willingness to work under supervision; supervision costs will be covered. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a sizable caseload effectively. Ability to work on site several days per week, following the standard school day schedule. Experience with school-aged populations and knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices preferred.
