Qualifications & Experience:
Valid California SLPA license or credential Experience in school-based SLPA positions is highly desirable Strong interpersonal communication skills with students, educators, and families Ability to take direction and collaborate with supervising SLPs Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve communication milestones Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
Responsibilities:
Assist SLPs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups Support the assessment and screening process as directed by supervising SLPs Prepare and organize therapy materials and learning activities Collect, document, and report student progress Participate in team meetings to discuss students needs, progress, and goals
