($40-55 per hour) In-person Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Our mission is to empower both children and adults to overcome communication barriers through personalized, evidence-based approaches. At Infinite Speech Care we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to assist in the implementation of speech and language programs, helping students achieve their communication goals within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language screenings (without interpretation). Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the SLP. Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as prescribed. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Prepare materials and equipment for speech-language services. Support data collection for assessments. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Follow ethical and professional guidelines in accordance with state regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field. State licensure or certification as an SLPA. Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and therapists. Commitment to student growth and development.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work on-site in a school environment. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if necessary.
