Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Comfortable supporting both individual and group therapy sessions Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and supervising SLPs Flexibility to adjust to varying caseload needs and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students under SLP supervision Support IEP goals with documentation and data collection Prepare therapy activities and materials tailored for diverse student needs Contribute to team meetings and collaborate on best practices for student progress Engage parents and staff to support carryover strategies and maintain open lines of communication Support inclusive practices within school settings Compensation for this position ranges from $37 to $45+ per hour, dependent upon your experience and qualifications.
