  • 1 •Position Overview•We are seeking a dedicated •Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)•to join a school-based team supporting students with speech and language needs.

Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SLPA will assist with implementing treatment plans, providing therapy support, and documenting student progress. This is a great opportunity for an SLPA seeking a part-time school-based position within a collaborative and supportive special education environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.

+ Provide direct support during therapy sessions.

+ Assist with educational and treatment-related activities.

+ Document services and track student progress.

+ Support communication goals and therapeutic interventions.

+ Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and support staff.

+ Maintain accurate records and required documentation.

+ Follow state, district, and professional standards of practice.

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements
  • + Graduate of an approved SLPA program with an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

+ Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience.

+ Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of practice.

+ Previous school or professional SLPA experience preferred.

+ Current health certificate and TB screening, if applicable.

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Compliance with all professional standards of practice.
