Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this role, you'll provide direct and indirect speech-language support services to students under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. You'll collaborate with educators, participate in team meetings, and help implement individualized education plans while fostering an encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or certification (state requirements must be met) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language settings highly valued Proficiency supporting students with speech, articulation, language, and communication needs Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to build rapport with diverse student populations and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language interventions and activities as directed by supervising SLP Assist with assessments and support in collecting data to measure student progress Prepare therapy materials and contribute to lesson planning Document services provided and maintain accurate records Promote a positive, growth-oriented atmosphere for students receiving speech-language support Communicate observations and progress with SLP and educators as required This is an exciting contract-based position near Dixon, CA, ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in school communities.
