Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is open for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students for the remainder of the school year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in school-based therapy, stepping in to cover a medical leave within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children from preschool through high school Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills Flexibility and reliability for full-time assignment (Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week)
Core Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed, completing all required documentation in a timely manner Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and monitor student growth Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary discussions Maintain up-to-date records and communicate effectively with families regarding student needs and progress This contract role is an excellent fit for SLPs who thrive in dynamic school environments and are passionate about helping students achieve their full communication potential.
