School Speech Therapy Assistant

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed to provide impactful services to a caseload of 55 students at the elementary and middle school levels. With 30 hours per week, you'll work collaboratively with educators and licensed SLPs to foster communication and development in young learners.

Key Qualifications:

Valid SLPA license required Experience in school and/or healthcare settings preferred Comfortable working with elementary and middle school-aged students Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team No SLP Clinical Fellows at this time Commitment to the full assignment from August 26 to June 27

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language intervention under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist Support students individually and in small groups with articulation, language, and social communication goals Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies Prepare materials and participate in developing intervention activities Communicate with supervising SLP, educators, and families regarding student progress Assist with screening and informal assessment activities as needed This engaging position offers the chance to positively impact students' educational journeys while gaining valuable experience in school-based practice.
