Qualifications/Experience:

Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-12 students Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Passion for fostering inclusive and effective learning environments Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple grade levels Organized, flexible, and positive attitude

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP Assist in developing, modifying, and adapting materials for individual student needs Document student progress and maintain accurate records Support the implementation of IEP goals Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other educational professionals Provide generalization and carryover support for students across classroom environments Enjoy a well-structured weekly schedule (8:30am-3:30pm, 35 hours/week) with the security of an anticipated assignment through 12/31/2026, and potential for extension.
