Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the remainder of the school year! This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled and adaptable SLPA who thrives in educational settings and has a passion for making a difference in students' lives. You'll work 5 days per week, totaling 35 hours, in an itinerant capacity—bringing your expertise to various school sites and collaborating closely with agency supervisors. Immediate availability to start is a must, as your skills will provide critical support through the last day of the school year on June 11, 2026. What you'll bring: Valid SLPA licensure and credentials required for working in schools Previous hands-on school-based SLPA experience (required) Ability to adapt quickly—no extensive training period available for recent graduates Reliable transportation and flexibility for itinerant assignments Strong teamwork skills as you'll communicate with teachers, SLPs, and other staff Excellent organizational habits and a self-starting attitude Role responsibilities: Provide support to Speech-Language Pathologists in the delivery of therapy services, both individually and in groups Carry out prescribed speech and language intervention activities with students Travel between multiple school sites as part of your itinerant assignment, collaborating with diverse teams Maintain detailed and timely documentation of sessions and student progress Communicate consistently with supervising SLPs and educational teams Help foster students' communication skills, supporting their success in the classroom This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your established SLPA skills and make a genuine impact for students this school year.
