SLP Requirements:
Required:
Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting. Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and documentation. Experience with SEIS & Welligent is preferred Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Responsibilities:
Follow and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans. Provide individual or group therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance and progress. Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other staff members. Follow ethical guidelines and maintain professional standards as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The Aptus Group participates in E verify.
