Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing critical support in a middle school setting, this contract role calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensed in California. Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA license in California is required Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school-aged children, is highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively
Job Details:
Contract position starting ASAP through the end of the current school year 25-30 hours per week, spread across 3-4 days Caseload consists of 33 middle school students requiring speech and language support Potential for full-time employment and contract renewal for the following school year
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language support services to assigned students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Maintain detailed records and progress reports Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student success
