Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) working within school settings near San Jose, California. This role is focused on supporting students by providing speech-language services under the supervision of a certified SLP during the 2022-2023 school year. The position offers a flexible caseload tailored to meet the needs of various school districts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Implement individualized treatment plans created by licensed Speech Language Pathologists. Document student progress and maintain detailed records. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.Qualifications:
CurrentASHA SLP
Assistant Certification (SLPA). Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a flexible caseload in a dynamic educational environment.Location:
