Speakeasy Speech Therapy is seeking a caring and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric private practice in a part-time capacity. This position is a great fit for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and wants a supportive clinical environment where they can build their skills, develop meaningful relationships with families, and have the opportunity to increase their hours over time. Position Overview The SLPA will provide individualized speech and language therapy to children ranging from early intervention through school age. Our therapists use engaging, child-centered approaches to help children make meaningful progress while keeping therapy fun and motivating. The initial schedule will be part-time , with the potential to expand to additional hours as the clinician's caseload develops. Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP Follow individualized treatment plans and therapy goals Provide engaging, play-based treatment activities Collect and record therapy data Complete daily clinical documentation Communicate with supervising SLPs regarding client progress and treatment needs Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers Prepare and organize therapy materials Participate as a collaborative member of the Speakeasy team Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive environment for children and families Client Population Our caseload primarily includes children with: Articulation and phonological disorders Expressive and receptive language delays Childhood apraxia and motor speech needs Fluency disorders Social communication difficulties Early language delays Clients range from toddlers through school-age children.
