Required Amergis is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support speech and language services in a school setting. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside an experienced SLP in a supportive educational environment. Position Overview The SLPA will assist the Speech Language Pathologist in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities include:

+ Supporting treatment and therapy activities + Assisting with clinical and educational tasks + Helping maintain documentation + Working within the plan of care established by the SLP and/or physician + Providing services within SLPA scope and state guidelines Minimum Requirements + Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree OR a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders + Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience (per state/contract requirements) + Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of practice + Compliance with all professional standards of practice + 1 year of SLPA experience preferred + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable) + Current health certificate (if required by state or contract) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be 18 years or older Pay DetailsTravel SLPA +

Pay Rate:

$16.50/hr +
