Exciting opportunity for a dynamic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to make a difference in K-12 school settings for the 2026-2027 academic year! If you are passionate about supporting students' communication development and eager to work onsite in a collaborative educational environment, this contract role is designed for you. This position runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and requires a commitment of 21-24 hours per week across three days. You'll be providing direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on student progress and supporting educational goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license/certification in California Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a strong plus Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong documentation and case management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups as directed Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment Stay current with best practices and ongoing training as required You'll enjoy weekly pay starting at $35+ per hour, as well as outstanding insurance options including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
