Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication growth in a welcoming educational setting near San Anselmo, CA. This is your chance to contribute to student success by delivering high-quality speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in California Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other school staff A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to students as directed by supervising SLP Implement individualized therapy plans within the classroom or small group settings Monitor, record, and report student progress toward therapy goals Assist with preparing materials and resources for therapy sessions Support SLPs with assessments, data collection, and documentation according to school policies Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to student support plans Benefits of this
