You will collaborate closely with experienced speech-language pathologists to deliver direct therapy, track student progress, and assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure in California Experience working with students in school environments is highly valued Background in healthcare SLPA settings considered a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation procedures Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet a diverse range of student needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in the preparation and maintenance of therapy materials Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with program requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and parents regarding student progress Support a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters student growth and participation
