A Speech Language Pathology Assistant assists licensed speech language pathologists in treating people with speech and language or other communication disorders or swallowing disorders. Assists with screening and helps patients with therapy activities. Works with adults or children and helps to treat a variety of speech disorders or communication problems created by stroke or injury.

Job Summary Under supervision of the site Principal(s) and Bilingual Director, assists classroom teachers with instruction and supervision of individual and/or small groups of students; performs a variety of translation duties; assessment services, and does other related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish or other languages currently needed in the District. (Please be sure to indicate which languages you speak within this application). 1) Proof of high school graduation (H.S. Diploma, high school transcripts, GED, or higher degree) 2) Must possess (and provide, if not already on file with TCSD one of the following) • proof of an
A.A. / A.S.
Degree • or 48 units from an institute of higher education • or have passed and provided the Instructional Aide Exam (CODESP).
