Job Description
The Dining Room Host is responsible for creating a clean, welcoming, and exceptional dining experience for guests. This role focuses on hospitality, cleanliness, guest engagement, and ensuring the dining room reflects Chick-fil-A's standards of excellence. Dining Room Hosts serve as ambassadors of hospitality by interacting with guests, assisting with dining room needs, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. This is a flexible, part-time position designed around our busiest meal periods. We are specifically looking for team members who are available to support our lunch rush from approximately 11:00 AM-2:00 PM and/or our dinner rush from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. This can be a great opportunity for someone looking for shorter, consistent shifts that fit around other commitments. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, restrooms, patio, and beverage station Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to all guests Assist guests with seating, tray carrying, refills, and special requests when needed Monitor dining room traffic and ensure tables are cleaned promptly Stock dining room supplies including napkins, condiments, straws, lids, and beverages Sweep, mop, and sanitize dining areas throughout the shift Respond quickly to guest concerns and communicate issues to leadership when necessary Support team members in Front of House operations during busy periods Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed Create a warm, family-friendly environment for every guest Assist with opening and closing dining room duties Cleaning the restrooms Requirements Positive attitude and strong communication skills Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when stocking or cleaning Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Willingness to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Prior customer service or restaurant experience preferred, but not required Work schedule Day shift 11am-2pm Night shift 5pm-8pm Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
