We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school-based setting in Watsonville, California . The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students and support their communication development. Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Work with students individually or in small groups based on their IEP goals and treatment plans. Assist in implementing speech and language intervention programs. Document student progress and maintain accurate service records. Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel. Support students in developing communication, articulation, language, and social communication skills. Participate in school-based meetings and communicate student progress to the supervising SLP. Maintain confidentiality and comply with school and district policies. Qualifications Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license/registration as required. Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, SLPs, and school staff. Commitment to supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Pay:

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
