Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active SLPA license or certification in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain before start date Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Experience working in a school setting preferred, especially with children or adolescents Strong understanding of speech and language development and intervention techniques Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to follow therapy plans and work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist Comfortable with documentation, progress tracking, and basic technology platforms

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language interventions to students individually and in small groups Implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals as directed by supervising SLP Assist in screening and assessment procedures under the supervision of a licensed SLP Prepare materials and adapted resources for sessions Collect data and document student progress Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing staff development Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, families, and staff
