Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful educational setting as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant supporting students' communication and academic growth during the 26/27 school year. This full-time, contract role, conveniently located in the greater Monument, CO area, offers multiple immediate openings and guaranteed hours from August through May. You will collaborate onsite with a dedicated team of professionals, serving a diverse elementary and middle school caseload and enjoying robust supervision.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure or certification eligibility for Colorado Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred Solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to adapt in dynamic environments Collaborative approach, comfortable working with teachers, therapists, and families Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development in both group and individual settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a certified Speech Language Pathologist Prepare and implement interventions consistent with students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Document progress and maintain accurate records per school and regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings, contribute to goal planning, and assist with assessments as directed Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students in both elementary and middle school populations
