Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (Brookfield & Shelton) Everyday Milestones LLC Brookfield, CT Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 - $32 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Childhood developmental delays Children with speech and language delays Full Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. We have an opening for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) interested in pediatrics. This person would work under the supervision of a SLP and service children birth- 10 in our different locations. We are hiring for two position that will service two locations each. Our ideal candidate(s) will have a passion for working primarily with the pediatric population and providing services in a clinic setting. Experience in the field, excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills are highly preferred. Candidates must be able to support children with speech and language delays and disorders, in a pediatric setting. AAC and ABA exposure or experience a PLUS! SLPA would have hours in clinic with clients ( 5-15 hours). •Entry level and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply.•

Seymour & Norwalk Duties :
SLPA's Implement individualized treatment plan under the supervision of a SLP Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients Daily documentation of speech sessions/groups Collaboration with the child's team Prepare program materials Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families
Base Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Some pediatric experience a plus Valid driver's license Hourly and part time available as caseload grows.
