Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support services across educational settings in Bear, DE. This position is ideal for candidates licensed in Delaware as an SLPA and passionate about making a positive impact in both preschool and elementary school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language support services to students in preschool and elementary school settings, tailored to their individual needs. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and support staff to implement therapy and intervention plans. Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records. Communicate effectively with families and school personnel to support student development. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Delaware SLPA license required. Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to student success and professional growth.Location and Schedule:
Position based in Bear, Delaware. Full-time or part-time hours available.Work schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Benefits and Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $42, based on experience and education. Weekly pay. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) matching.
