Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication growth as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a dynamic school environment near Bonita Springs, FL. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time options, with positions available across several schools. You'll collaborate closely with a team of experienced professionals, providing direct support to students in elementary and middle schools. As part of this rewarding position, you'll work up to 37.5 hours per week, consulting and collaborating with lead Speech Language Pathologists to deliver essential services to a caseload of 50-55 students. Multiple school sites are available, allowing for the flexibility to combine assignments into a full-time schedule if desired. This role is strictly on-site and not open to virtual arrangements.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required Previous experience working with pediatric populations and school-aged children preferred Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans and strategies developed by supervising SLPs Work directly with students under supervision, using evidence-based techniques Collaborate with educators and other support staff in the delivery of IEP services Maintain accurate session notes and progress records in compliance with school and state requirements Support the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Additional Onboarding Requirements:
