Fort Myers, FL New School Year | Full-Time (Contract) School District Setting Position Overview Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a Fort Myers, Florida school district for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, contract opportunity offering weekly pay and full benefits while making a meaningful impact on students' communication success. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, school administrators, and multidisciplinary teams Deliver therapy services in individual, small-group, and classroom-based settings Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports Participate in IEP meetings, staffing conferences, and team planning sessions Ensure compliance with Florida DOE, district policies, and IDEA requirements Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility for Florida licensure) Florida Department of Education (DOE) Certification (or ability to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to pass background screening and school district clearance Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based. #p34
