In this vital role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services across diverse settings, including schools, clinics, and telehealth platforms. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help children and individuals with disabilities improve their communication skills, support language development, and enhance their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs, including those with speech disorders, language delays, or voice issues Support children and students with disabilities by facilitating engaging therapy activities focused on early intervention and child language development Conduct preliminary assessments and gather data to monitor progress under supervision of licensed professionals Support clients during telehealth sessions by setting up technology, ensuring engagement, and providing feedback as directed Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to coordinate care plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other goals Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client communication in compliance with privacy standards Stay informed on anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and speech-language pathology best practices to effectively support therapy objectives Experience Prior experience working with children or students in educational or clinical settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, including language disorders support and speech disorders support Hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities or in pediatric healthcare environments such as early intervention or school-based programs Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote services effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus for supporting diverse client populations Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology enhances your effectiveness in this role Previous exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration within speech-language pathology teams is advantageous Join us to empower individuals through effective communication support!
